Most VisionFirst locations offer the Optomap™ Retinal Exam, a non-dilated eye exam using state-of-the-art imaging systems.  This allows the doctor to capture a digital image of the retina for quicker diagnosis eliminating the need for annoying dilating drops.  With Optomap™, you can resume your normal schedule immediately.

For our glaucoma patients we offer the GDx® technology. The GDx examines the nerve fiber layer, the tissue at the back of the eye that is directly affected by glaucoma.  By examining this nerve fiber layer early signs of the disease can be detected.  Early detection directly results in early treatment and maximum sight preservation.  This technology provides a quick and accurate evaluation because it measures the site of glaucoma damage, not just the symptoms.

We also offer TelScreen which helps treat and manage various corneal and outer eye issues.  TelScreen offers state-of-the-art high resolution digital photos for quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment.
